True dynamic sampling

This illustration shows what the factory signal could look like when it has bass roll off. This is an attenuation in the audio signal that the radio outputs to prevent damage to the factory speakers that are not designed to play in this frequency range AT specific volume levels.

The BassRESTOR analyses the FULL frequency range that its fed and in real time adds back in any missing frequency. An even cooler feature is that is can do the same restoration with just a small fraction of the Low ends audio signal.

  1. ORANGE: Is the factory signal going into the BassRESTOR with a Bass roll-off at 57Hz @ -4.5db ( This will be analyzed in real time)
  2. YELLOW: This is the RESTORATION that the BassRESTOR as made. The Roll off is no longer a factor and the only issue left is the attenuation of -4.5db.
  3. BLUE: Is the final correction and the output of the BassRESTOR to the the amplifier. A +1db flat signal with no missing frequencies.

All of this is achieved by using the EFFECT,WIDE, and FREQ potentiometers on the unit.

In this illustration you can see the frequency range from 57hz down to 0hz has been RESURECTED and optimized using the BassRESTOR.

  • Frequencies below 20Hz cant be heard by the human ears and frequencies from 20Hz-35Hz are more feeling then hearing, 35Hz-45Hz is the range of operations for most subwoofers outside of SPL builds.
  • This would be a perfect time to use the Sub sonic filter at 25Hz to prevent frequencies 25Hz or lower from entering the amplifier.
  • The BassRESTOR is a fit for all and as you can see by, using a Low Pass Filter (LPF) at 70Hz on the amp we prevent Vocals or Midrange frequencies from also passing through and playing out of the woofer.
  • By using the proper Processor and filters we can achieve DSP like outcomes that blow a "flat signal" out of the box.
