IMPORTANT

PAC and Metra(Axxess) sell stolen copies of our ANC bypass harness. Some of the fitment & information they provide is incorrect and does not reflect on our products.

This GMC Buick ANC bypass harness was designed for vehicles that have the factory Bose amplifier and an RPO code of  UQA,UQF,UQS,UQP. This chevy ANC bypass harness is ideal for disabling and preventing feed back of the factory ANC system, when adding an aftermarket subwoofer. This harness works with all Chevy, GMC, Buick and Cadillac models that have the Bose with ANC.

The Active Noise Cancellation, or ANC, in your vehicle is designed to pick up on low frequency road noise and cancels out any undesirable sounds, making your drive a quieter and smoother ride. The ANC in your vehicle can become a major headache when adding aftermarket equipment, such as subwoofers or speakers. The ANC microphones will send feedback from the aftermarket subs through the speakers, making an odd sound or random "pops" that come and go, distorting your music.

Designed and built in the U.S.A by LLJ Customs. Stolen by PAC Audio and METRA elec.

This ANC bypass is designed to disable the ANC in any Chevy, GMC, Cadillac and Buick vehicle with the BOSE/None Bose amplifier with ANC.

FAQ

Is there another way to disable my ANC?

Yes there are a few other ways.

  1. Cut the wires at the factory amp. (absolutely not recommended)
  2. Prop the headliner and disconnect the ANC microphones (does not always work)
  3. Some vehicles have the ability to disable in the software. (this can turn back on by itself)
After about 20 minutes that I turned off my vehicle, my subs will start to make a loud rumble. Why? Is this ANC?

NO, this happens when the vehicles security system sends a signal to the radio or amplifier that triggers the LOC or amp on.

Using DC offset OR audio turn-on will fix the problem for you. This can happen with vehicles regardless of having ANC.

Where do I plug in this bypass?

There are 3 places you can and it depends on the vehicle manufacturer and equipment.

  • Factory radio
  • Factory amplifier
  • Factory ANC module

Our harnesses have a 'where to plug in at' section for each bypass harness.

I wasn't aware of ANC

"I was in the process of adding an amplified subwoofer to my 2024 Cadillac XT4 and while Google searching for speaker wire colors, I learned about ANC. Fortunately for me there was a link to LLJ Customs where I learned about the correct bypass harness. I ordered and received it, simple installation and all is great with my newly enhanced sound system."

Cadillac AKG system

"This ANC does work with the Cadillac up to 2026 that have the AKG system. Had to order the other one. They don’t specify. I’m on my second ANC harness and well I’m hoping that when they decide to ship it (3 days and counting) that maybe the other one will work."

Works Perfectly

"Initially the cable was out of stock but when I sent a support request asking when/if it would be back in stock the reply came back super quick informing me within the next week, great communication. Anyway, after receiving the item the install is a PITA (no fault of the cable) but the cable worked exactly as expected."

Works great!

"Back ordered for a few weeks. I installed it the day it arrived. Very easy to install despite lack of packaging instructions. The website had the info. Works well, eliminates buzzing and humming from my aftermarket sub. I haven’t noticed any change to road noise."

Fits and works on 2025 CT5-V Blackwing

"Works as advertised, and disables ANC on a CT5-V Blackwing. Installation is a little tricky on this particular vehicle. Quick installation summary if anyone else is doing the same: The amp is located behind/below the passenger taillight. To get to it, pop off the center portions of each of the tie down points in the trunk to expose a torx bolt. Undoing these loosens the plastic protector, which helps get the trunk cladding out of the way. Undo all the clips holding the passenger side trunk cladding. You should be able to move the cladding out of the way enough to see the amp in it's bracket (No need to fully remove the cladding). Connectors are on the bottom (note that all connectors have retaining clips that need to be pulled out before disconnecting). To get easier access to the amp connectors, disconnected the tail light connector, and undo the 3 bolts holding the amp bracket to the body of the car. You should now be able to rotate the entire bracket upward to get easier access to the connector. On mine, the rear-most connector (as the amp is installed) was the one that fit the harness. Due to the size of the connector, it might take some time to work loose after you slide out the retaining clip. Then install the harness in series, and follow all the steps in reverse to re-assemble (remember to reconnect the taillight)"
