Base Connector - BC

-This is the part of the harness that will plug into your Factory Radio, Amp or BCM. Works with ETA or ELA can be interchanged or exchanged for a different (BC) if you change vehicles.

Elite T-harness Accesory - ETA

-The T-harness is ideal for a project where you are doing just a sub (2ch) or will be pulling and running your own speaker wires from your (4/6+ch) channel amp to your speakers. *Needs BC to work. (Remote turn 12v signal with ART optional below)

Elite Loopback Accesory - ELA

-The Loopback is all about installation efficiency and saving time. The Loopback will provide audio signal on one end and the return side that feeds the new amped signal back to the factory speaker wires. Ideal for 4 channel or 2 + amp installations. *Needs BC to work. (Remote turn 12v signal with ART optional below)

LOC Unit, Amplifiers & Termination options

-This part can get confusing but keep it simple. just select what you need. If you buy an amp or LOC unit with your harness we will add the needed termination for it to connect to that unit or amp. The Elite 6ch Factory Amplifier T-Harness Accessory was specifically designed to work and plug into the factory amplifier, this style of harness will simply provide signal without affecting any of the audio signal going to the speakers. This accessory is designed to work with vehicles that have a Bose, AKG or an Alpine amplified system. 

The harness will provide a total of 6 channels, the dash speakers, the front doors and the rear doors. In vehicles with a factory amplifier, the system is ran as an active system; with each speaker working off of its own individual channel off of the factory amp. This style of harness is ideal for those looking to amplify their speakers but prefer to run their own wiring to the speaker locations.

This harness can be customized and built to a full plug and play kit, for example:

  • If you’re adding a 6-channel amp that does not take a high level (minimum 32v) we offer a 6ch processor, a Link6. This will offer 6ch RCA out and remote turn on to the amp.
  • For easy tuning and installation, we offer several amplifier options, all of which can handle the high level and they have a built-in processor or DSP. An LC6.1200 and a D6.1200 will power all 6 channels in the vehicle and offer RCA out to a sub or sub amp. The LC Series has an analog processor built in (the LC7i technology) and the D Series has a built in DSP. 

You always have the option of using your own equipment. The harness can be wired to your own Processor or Amp (verify the input voltage before wiring directly). You can add Wire Ferrules or RCA to your harness, depending on what your equipment requires. 

If your vehicle DOES NOT have a factory amplified system (Factory Amplifier) this harness will NOT work. Please refer to our Elite 4ch Loopback Harness Accessory for non-amplified vehicles.

How your signal is delivered Matters !

What Is High Level or Low level?

High level : AKA Speaker level is an amp that can handle an input voltage of 8-40v. This high output is common in factory amplified vehicles or where the
max voltage of a head unit is more then 10v. This is normally identified by a pigtail connection point or via the RCA on the amplifier (must check user manual to verify.) Some amps have a switch for this. NOT all amps have this future.

Low Level : is 0-8v of signal voltage. This is most commonly found inaftermarket head units. or other aftermarket units that use can-bus. Most passive LOC units output 0-5v so they are considered a low level and are normally RCA to RCA. Modern day ACTIVE LOC units can output 0-10v of signal.

In conclusion an LOC works as an in line filter that lest you control the signal, its intercity and in some cases the playable frequency range.

If your amp takes a high level and it is within the vehicles factory output range then you dont need an loc unit and can wire in and out of your amp
directly. In some fords the signal can be flattened at the OB2 furthering the simplification of the installation.
