Collection: Elite Express System

The Elite Express System is our middle ground between the DIY’er and our finished Elite System. The nature of our business means that offering as many options as we do leads to long manufacturing lead times. We hope that by offering a system that is plug and play but is not cosmetically finished we cut down on the time from when the product is ordered to when it is shipped. This, in return, will allow our customers to still have the 100% plug and play functionality. While also allowing them to loom the harness to a true custom fashion by being able to decide exactly where the loop splits and how long each end is.

 

For Example:

In a vehicle where the processor and the amplifier cannot be mounted together, our standard 2 foot separation might not be ideal on a 10, 15 or 20ft Loopback Harness. The ability to individually loom becomes extremely important to get the harness signal and return where it needs to be or where it best fits. This is particularly ideal when the processor is under one seat and the amp needs to be under another. In this instance you could cut the signal side to about 12ft (or where needed) and the return side longer or shorter, based on where that amp would be mounted.

The harness will come with all the required materials as shown in our “Self Assembly Video”.

 

Ideal Tools:

  • Electric Hot Knife
  • Temperature regulated heat gun
  • Wire Strippers
  • Wire cutter
  • Crimper

Standard Tools:

  • Good quality scissors
  • Lighter
  • Hair dryer (if you leave in AZ, just leave it outside🥵)
  • A knife or medium-strong teeth (to strip the wire)

 

What’s Included Loopback Harness

  • 20ft Loopback Harness (4 or 6 channel)
    • 20awg signal side, 16awg return side. Twisted pair, 300v custom LLJ Wire
    • With Elite Harness Style connection
    • For vehicles with factory amplifier we will offer a 5ft and a 20ft option
    • Signal side and return side will be separated and marked
  • Looming and Shrink Tube Kit

 

In summary, you receive your loopback harness, you cut it to the length you need, loom it, shrink tube it and you’re ready to go.

 

In the years of designing and selling these systems we have collected very useful information that suggests that the majority of our customers will start with a subwoofer but eventually end up adding a 4 channel or 6 channel amplifier. With this information we have decided that we will be offering the Express Elite T-Harness design in a 5ft or 20ft, 4 channel only. The 2 channel 5ft or 20ft option will only be available for some factory amplified systems. If the connector is compatible you will see the 2 channel option available in the build out options.

What is ANC ?

Active-noise-control(ANC) technology takes advantage of the vehicle's audio system to diminish unwanted noise generated by the engine. To reduce that noise, engineers use active acoustic control or ANC to generate noise-cancellation signals, which are played on loudspeakers in the car's cabin. If this signal is processed by the aftermarket amp you will hear rumbling when engine is revving up or your subwoofers are picked up by the ANC microphones. In this situation the ANC must be bypassed.
